I think those comments were made before I even left for Nigeria. I only jusy arrived yesterday (November 10). So far life's been fairly scam-free, although food is quite a bit more expensive than I bargained for. The only complaints I have so far are very minor and, in general, I am quite content and happy to be here. Do you have my email address? Ask Chris if you don't. I'll see if I can remember yours and I'll include you on my next email update.
